Job Description The Training and Engagement Specialist works closely with the Director of Training and Development, the Executive team, Coordinators, Captains and subject matter experts to design, develop and implement high quality learning experiences and companywide training programs.

This role creates engaging and effective learning solutions for various learning formats (online, classroom, blended).

The Specialist leverages innovation and technology to produce and deliver multimedia learning materials.

This role focuses on ensuring that training programs align with organizational goals and meet learners' needs effectively.

The Specialist helps plan and execute employee engagement events and employee onboarding.   JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Design and develop effective and engaging training content that is brand aligned, user friendly and reflects IGF's core foundations and mission.

Creates multi-media training including storyboards, demonstrations, classroom training, on the job training, eLearning modules, assessments, and job aids.

Works with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and relevance of training as well as to create training learning paths that support new hires, cross training and internal promotions.

Use technology to create blended learning programs, incorporating innovative tools and technology to author, house and deliver content.

Utilize software to build eLearning content applying the principles of instructional design, learning engagement and adult learning theory.

Uploads, manage and maintain eLearning content within the LMS ensuring that courses are user-friendly and accessible.

The subject matter expert on the LMS, providing support and guidance across the organization.

An ambassador of IGF core foundations, culture and employee engagement.

Ensure that the culture is woven into onboarding, training programs, and employee engagement events.

Contributes to onboarding efforts including orientation.

Assists with the development and execution of employee engagement events QUALIFICATIONS Minimum three years of experience in training content development Advanced experience using LMS platforms and training design software (Articulate 360, Camtasia) Strong comprehension of learning theories and adult learning principles Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, both written and verbal Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects at a time, delivering both on time and within scope Bachelor's degree in business administration, strategic planning, organizational development, communications, or a related field Powered by JazzHR
