This individual will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our content strategy by managing, writing, creating, recording, and editing compelling technical and thought leadership content that positions Synack as a leader in the cybersecurity and AI space. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who excels at time management and who can juggle multiple deadlines while delivering creative, high-quality content. Here’s what you'll do Content Strategy and Pipeline Develop and own the company’s global content strategy to support brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement. Build and manage an editorial calendar to increase the quality and cadence of our content pipeline that aligns with product launches, industry events, campaigns, and business priorities. Collaborate cross-functionally with product marketing, sales, engineering, and executives to ensure content supports business goals. Support the editorial strategy for social media channels across LinkedIn, X, Instagram. Content Creation and Management Research, write, and edit high-quality content including blogs, whitepapers, bylined articles, solution briefs, case studies, web copy, video and audio, and thought leadership pieces. Understand best practices for using AI to assist with writing projects—without sacrificing authenticity, accuracy or quality. Translate complex cybersecurity concepts into clear, engaging narratives for technical and non-technical audiences. Commission, edit, and manage contributions from subject matter experts, freelancers, and partners. Ensure brand voice, accuracy, and consistency across all content. Thought Leadership and Research Partner with internal experts to develop authoritative content on cybersecurity trends, research findings, and emerging threats. Collaborate on industry research reports, data-driven content, and survey-based insights. Performance and Optimization Define and track content KPIs to measure impact and inform continuous improvement. Optimize content for SEO in conjunction with the digital marketing team Partner with demand generation to ensure content is leveraged effectively across campaigns and social media. Here’s what you’ll need 7+ years of professional experience in content marketing, journalism, editorial management, or technical writing. Minimum of 3 years working in cybersecurity. Familiarity and experience with AI tool stack for creating content but with inspection and editing capabilities Proven track record of developing and executing content strategies that support the go-to-market motion.  Exceptional technical writing and editing skills, with the ability to simplify complex cybersecurity concepts. Strong project management and organizational skills with experience running editorial calendars. Knowledge of SEO best practices and content performance metrics. Experience tailoring social content for maximum engagement across various platforms (LinkedIn, X, Facebook/Instagram) Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. Nice to have Experience ghostwriting or producing content for executives and subject matter experts. Comfort working with designers, video producers, and multimedia teams to create diverse content formats. Previous experience in fast-paced, high-growth B2B SaaS environments. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations.
