Overview The Compliance & Risk Analyst is responsible for performing management testing of technology controls and facilitating requests from internal and external auditors. This position will work with all levels of staff and management within the Information Technology organization. Responsibilities Works in collaboration with internal and external auditors under the direction of the department Director. Performs management testing of Information Technology General Controls (ITGC). Documents control issues, root-cause, mitigating controls, and action plans. Manages and executes quarterly User Access Review (UAR) process across all divisions and SOX-compliant applications. Creates, updates, and/or maintains control documentation, process documents, control matrix and associated documents such as walkthroughs, and application process flows. Facilitates internal and external audit requests, ensuring timely turnaround and collection of information. Contributes to the IT system and control evaluation process. Supports ad hoc compliance reporting and provides status reports on the progress of SOX audit-related activities. Partners with IT on how to effectively comply with Corporate and Cyber security policies to proactively mitigate risks. Qualifications Bachelor's degree (preferred) in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent experience 2+ years of relevant experience in SOX Compliance, Internal Auditing, Information Technology, or risk management, Experience working directly with internal or external auditors Must be comfortable stating opinions, and facts, while discussing any necessary changes and documentation needs to meet SOX requirements Knowledge of a variety of SOX reporting procedures and procedures Regards and upholds the confidentiality of company data, communications, and policies, including security measures Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills Demonstrated attention to detail and capacity for managing various priorities Knowledge of information security guidelines and relevant best business practices Experience with IT General SOX Controls Experience with IT service management processes (change, incident, or problem management) Experience with identity and access management processes Knowledge of Service Now, JIRA, and Audit Board, a plus CISA, CRISC, CISM, a plus
