Certified Tax Credit SpecialistTax Credit Specialist for residential leasing office:A Tax Credit Specialist is a leasing consultant that is also the primary ambassador between the public, the residents of the apartment community and community management.  This individual is responsible for providing exceptional service to community residents, future residents and internal team members.  They must provide the community with value and quality by assessing the needs of their client.RESPONSIBILITIES:Process and Review applications for new rentalPrepare lease paperwork and process tax credit certification for Move –Ins.Review existing leases and process tax credit recertifications for existing tenants.General office and secretarial duties as neededConduct tours of available apartmentsProcess requests by tenants and maintenance staffAssist in coordinating resident activitiesQUALIFICATIONS: Experience with AMSI, YARDI and/or Rent Roll is a PLUSExperience with Rent Control Properties (Tax Credit properties, Section 8, HUD, Low Income Housing, etc) a MUSTExcellent sales and customer service skillsStrong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills Highly detail-orientedProficient on Microsoft Word and ExcelStrong customer service focus for both internal and external customers                          TCAC certification from California Tax Credit Allocation Committee (CTCAC) is a PLUSMust have or be willing to take CA Fair Housing Act training course and obtain a certification of completion with passing score 80% or higher.
