Day.Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau, WI is seeking a VP- SYSTEM FACILITIES-SECURITY-CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT to join our MAINTENANCE teamThe Vice President (VP) of Facilities, Security and Construction Management provides strategic leadership and executive oversight for all aspects of the health system’s physical environment. This includes facilities management, safety and security operations, construction and capital projects, and real estate portfolio management. The VP ensures a safe, compliant, efficient, and patient-centered environment that supports the organization’s mission of healing people, promoting health and strengthening the communities we serve.Experience/QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Engineering (mechanical, electrical, civil), Architecture, Construction Management, Facilities Management, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required.Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration (MHA), Business Administration (MBA), Engineering/Architecture, or Public Administration required.7+ Years’ of progressive leadership experience in facilities, construction, security, and/or real estate in a healthcare setting is required.Experience overseeing multi-site facilities (hospitals, clinics, administrative buildings, ambulatory centers).Demonstrated expertise in regulatory compliance (Joint Commission, DNV, CMS, NFPA, OSHA, EPA, state/local codes).Demonstrated leadership experience managing directors, managers, and multidisciplinary teams.Strong background in vendor, contractor, and real estate negotiations.Extensive experience presenting to and influencing senior leadership.Experience with security operations and emergency preparedness programs within an integrated health care system. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal. Proficient in developing and organizing project information, and effectively presenting to a range of audiences.Health care operations leadership experience highly desired.Driver’s License Required - Possesses a valid Driver’s license and maintain insurability.
