Day.Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau, WI is seeking a PLANNING AND CONSTRUCTION PROJECT COORDINATOR to join our FACILITIES PLAN AND CONST MGMT teamThe Planning & Construction Project Coordinator supports Aspirus’ Facility Planning and Construction Management Team objectives through the coordination and implementation of various aspects of planning and construction projects. This position collaborates with key internal and external stakeholders to effectively assist and organize the work efforts of the Planning and Construction Project Managers within the department. HOURS: Full-Time or 1.0 FTE, 80 hours every 2 weeks.  Experience/QualificationsAssociate Degree is required.Bachelor’s Degree is preferred but not required.2 to 3 years of experience with projects, capital purchasing and/or FFE procurement.Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) preferred but not required.Project Management Professional (PMP) or willingness to explore this certification is preferred but not required.Lean or other continuous improvement methodologies preferred but not required. Demonstrates success collaborating with multiple teams on concurrent complex initiatives or projects.A minimum of three years’ work experience coordinating projects or associated components.Understanding of the working and process of projects.Experience in healthcare industry preferred.Demonstrates strong leadership skills and sensitivity to organizational politics.Demonstrates the behaviors of an ideal team player, collaborating freely and helping others on the team. Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of the organization and all types of staff and partner physicians.
