This role supports North AmericaTravel: Required (approx. 20–40%)Position Overview:We are seeking a Senior Consultant – AI, Data, and Emerging Technologies to join the Parsons X team. This consultative role bridges technology strategy and solution delivery, helping clients define and implement data-centric, AI-enabled approaches to complex infrastructure challenges.The ideal candidate brings a blend of technical depth, strategic insight, and business acumen—comfortable leading client discussions on AI and data strategy, designing architecture roadmaps, and driving innovation initiatives across domains such as cognitive cities, smart mobility, and critical infrastructure resilience.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Advisory & Client EngagementServe as a trusted advisor to clients on AI, data strategy, and emerging-technology adoption.Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, and roadmap development aligned with client business and operational goals.Translate complex technical concepts into actionable strategies and communicate insights clearly to executive and non-technical stakeholders.Solution Architecture & IntegrationLead design of integrated AI, data, and analytics architectures leveraging cloud, IoT, and cybersecurity principles.Develop scalable frameworks for data management, governance, and interoperability across platforms and partners.Support solution prototyping and pilot deployments that validate business value through Parsons’ thin-slice innovation approach.Technical LeadershipProvide thought leadership across AI/ML, data analytics, automation, and digital twin technologies.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—engineers, software developers, data scientists, and domain SMEs—to deliver end-to-end solutions.Contribute to Parsons’ internal innovation programs, technical communities, and proposal development efforts.Business Growth & Industry LeadershipPartner with Parsons X leadership to identify new business opportunities, cultivate client relationships, and support go-to-market strategies.Develop thought-leadership content, white papers, and presentations to strengthen Parsons’ position in the AI, data, and digital-infrastructure space.Represent Parsons X at conferences, industry events, and client forums to showcase capabilities and drive market visibility.Actively contribute to pipeline development through networking, client outreach, and innovation pursuits.Continuous Innovation & LearningStay abreast of emerging trends in AI, edge computing, cybersecurity, and connected infrastructure.Share insights across the organization to foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.Qualifications:Education & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent professional experience accepted in lieu of formal education.8+ years of progressive experience in AI, data analytics, or digital transformation, with at least 3 years in a client-facing or consultative capacity.Demonstrated success designing or implementing data-driven solutions in transportation, mobility, or critical-infrastructure sectors.Experience integrating across disciplines—data, AI/ML, systems architecture, cybersecurity, and cloud technologies.Technical ExpertiseProficiency with AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn) and modern data architectures.Strong knowledge of data platforms and tools (Databricks, Snowflake, Hadoop, Spark).Familiarity with cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevSecOps principles.Working understanding of cybersecurity, data governance, and interoperability frameworks.Knowledge of smart-city, digital-twin, or IoT ecosystems highly desirable.Professional SkillsExceptional communication and presentation abilities; adept at bridging business and technical domains.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Collaborative mindset with ability to lead in virtual, cross-functional environments.Entrepreneurial orientation with interest in business growth and client development.Certifications (Preferred)Certified AI/ML, Data Science, or Cloud Architecture credentials (AWS, Azure, GCP).PMP, TOGAF, or similar enterprise-architecture certification a plus.Why Join Parsons X:Purpose-Driven Innovation: Help shape the future of infrastructure through AI, data, and emerging technologies.Collaborative Culture: Join a multidisciplinary team that thrives on creativity, experimentation, and co-creation with clients.Growth & Learning: Access continuous professional development, certifications, and global innovation programs.Flexibility & Impact: Enjoy the autonomy of a virtual role while delivering outcomes that matter for communities and cities worldwide.Security Clearance Requirement:NoneThis position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team.For more than 80 years, our experts have designed and delivered the critical infrastructure that connects and protects communities around the world.
