Venture Global LNG (“Venture Global”) is a long-term, low-cost provider of American-produced liquefied natural gas. The company’s Louisiana-based export projects service the global demand for North American natural gas and support the long-term development of clean and reliable North American energy supplies. Using reliable, proven technology in an innovative plant design configuration, Venture Global’s modular, mid-scale plant design will replace traditional designs as it allows for the same efficiency and operational reliability at significantly lower capital cost.We are looking for an Operational Assurance Manager to establish, implement, and periodically evaluate the Assurance Management System to ensure the organization’s construction operations maintain compliance with all project specifications, drawings, codes, standards, and all federal, state, and local requirements.This may be a contract or full time position located in Point Celeste, Louisiana working from our Plaquemines Parish (PQ) LNG Facility.Responsibilities Participate in, develop and execute comprehensive start-up strategies for LNG production facilities, aligning with overall business objectives and production Lead high-performance teams in the planning and implementation of startup and operation activities across all process systemsEstablish and oversee robust SIMOPS (Simultaneous Operations) and PTW (Permit to Work) systems, ensuring operational efficiency and safetyProvide expert-level guidance on pre-treatment. liquefaction processes, cryogenic systems, and associated equipment to optimize facility performanceCollaborate with senior leadership to establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for start-up and operations phases and drive their achievementOversee pre-commissioning, commissioning, and startup activities, ensuring adherence to best practices and safety standards.Prepare timely and accurate reporting of daily/weekly/monthly activitiesTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues during the start-up phaseEnsure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and standardsLiaise with construction teams, engineering, CSU team and operations teams to ensure smooth handover of facilitiesManage and Mentor staff as assigned in start-up and commissioning processes Qualifications A Minimum of 20 years of progressive experience in field operations, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles managing personnel and overseeing large-scale start-ups of industrial processing facilities. Proven track record in successfully managing start-up and operations of multiple LNG production facilities in the US Gulf Coast region. Solid knowledge of pre-commissioning, commissioning, startup, SIMOPS, PTW, and liquefaction processesExperience with quality assurance and control processes in industrial settingsOperations and Start Up experience requiredShift Supervisor experience within a plant environment requiredBroad knowledge and understating of all industry codes, standards, and industry best practices.Have advanced computer experience with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Projects, PowerPoint, and Excel Work products.Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to obtain a TWIC Card.
