We support flexible working arrangements wherever possible.  Position Summary The Buyer plays a critical role in developing and executing category strategies through detailed analysis and supplier engagement. This position supports supplier relationship management, drives cost and performance improvements, and leads category and supplier management for assigned sub-categories. The Buyer will also champion enterprise initiatives such as cost savings, working capital optimization, and supplier rationalization across global operations. Responsibilities Conduct quantitative analysis using Excel and/or Access to support sourcing decisionsDevelop category and supplier profiles and maintain accurate supplier scorecardsSupport negotiations and cost model development across assigned categories; lead efforts for designated sub-categories and suppliersEngage stakeholders to ensure alignment with procurement strategiesSupport development of category-specific pipelines and sourcing plansExecute sourcing projects and product cycle plans independentlyConduct supply market analysis and benchmark studiesManage day-to-day supplier relationship activities, including SAP and SRM queriesDrive compliance with procurement policies and risk management programsInterface with legal teams to ensure proper contract approvals and signatory levelsDemonstrate expertise in negotiation tools and techniques, applying them regularlyDevelop and implement sub-category procurement strategies aligned with company goalsEvaluate bids, recommend suppliers, and track procurement performance metrics What we are looking for Bachelor’s degree (Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or Business Administration preferred)2+ years of procurement experience (strategic and practical) and demonstrated success managing projectsStrong analytical skills with advanced Excel/Access capabilities (beyond basic data entry) Hands-on experience with ERP systems and procurement platformsExcellent organizational and time management skills; ability to manage multiple prioritiesStrong oral and written communication skills with ability to present ideas in business-friendly languageHighly self-motivated with ability to drive change in a decentralized organizationStrong oral and written communication skills with ability to present ideas in business-friendly languageAbility to set priorities and make decisionsWhat we preferExperience working in SAP and eProcurement tools (., Ariba)Experience managing supplier relationships and conducting negotiationsStrong facilitation skills to collaborate with stakeholders globallyUnderstanding of cost structures, working capital, and financial metricsKnowledge of eSourcing methodology and procurement best practices Come join us Energizer is an equal opportunity employer, and we prohibit discrimination based on age, color, disability, marital or parental status, veteran status, national origin, race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or any other legally protected status in accordance with applicable federal, state and local laws. Total Rewards Package The salary range for this position is USD $66,000.00/Yr. - USD $75,000.00/Yr.Actual base salary offered to a candidate may vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
