Developmental Dentistry -Open Rank (Assistant, Associate or Professor) Faculty School of Dentistry    Requisition The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, School Of DentistryDepartment of Developmental Dentistry/ Division of OrthodonticsOpen Rank (Assistant, Associate or Professor) The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UTHSCSA) School of Dentistry, the Department of Developmental Dentistry, Division of Orthodontics is seeking an individual to full fill a new full-time faculty position of a Non-Tenure Track, Assistant, Associate or Professor/Clinical level.Description: This position will assist the Program Director with the development of the program self-study for the Commission of Dental Accreditation site visit. This individual will help train interns and provide long-term continuity to service and duties important to the departmental teaching mission by developing, revising, and implementing curriculum based on best practices. This position will supervise the teaching assistants provided for the Orthodontic graduate classes.Duties include didactic and clinical teaching in the graduate Orthodontics and pre-doctoral program and administration.Qualifications: The successful candidate must have a DDS or DMD degree, have completed an ADA accredited advanced educational program in Orthodontics, be eligible or certified by the American Board of Orthodontics, and be eligible for a Texas dental license. Time Off- A generous leave program offers multiple paid leave options:Front-loaded Paid Time Off: to hours ( to days) of Paid Time Off based on years of service, given at the start of each fiscal year.
