Senior AccountantOur esteemed SelectLeaders client, a privately held and highly respected real estate investment firm, is seeking a hands-on Senior Accountant to lead property-level accounting, CAM/NNN reconciliations, and lender reporting across a portfolio of retail and office assets. This role works directly with ownership and third-party property managers in a lean, collaborative, fully in-office environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the monthly close process across multiple real estate entitiesMaintain accurate general ledgers for numerous property LLCsReconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and all escrow accounts (TI/LC/reserves)Oversee AP/AR and collaborate with property managers on rent collections and operating expensesEnsure timely and accurate property-level financial data from third-party managersPrepare monthly financial reporting packages, including cash flow summariesComplete annual CAM/NNN reconciliations for multi-tenant retail and office propertiesMonitor property-level cash flow, reserve balances, and partner distribution schedulesPrepare quarterly lender reporting packages and ensure covenant complianceProvide ownership with clean, timely reporting and financial visibilityRecommend process improvements and optimize AppFolio structure and workflowsOversee budget variance reporting and support annual budgetingCoordinate with external CPA firm on tax preparation and annual filingsSupport property tax payments, insurance renewals, and other compliance itemsMaintain and improve the chart of accounts and accounting system (AppFolio preferred)Serve as liaison between accounting and property management teamsMaintain audit-ready documentation and uphold general ledger integrityQualificationsMinimum 5+ years of accounting experience within commercial real estateStrong background with retail and office propertiesCAM/NNN reconciliation experience requiredExperience with lender reporting strongly preferredHighly detail-oriented, organized, and accountableExcellent communication skills for interacting with principals and property managersFamily office experience encouragedThrives in a small, quiet, team-oriented office environmentExperience preparing comprehensive financial reporting packagesBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldAppFolio experience preferred but not required$110,000 - $130,000 a yearCompensation details: 110000-130000 Yearly SalaryPIfeda8e255a7f-30511-39212116
