Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering and zero to three years of experience. Completion of Part I of the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam and knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and MicroStation In Roads is preferred. Strong written and verbal communication/coordination skills are essential. A flexible hybrid-remote work schedule is available after 30 days of employment.Typical responsibilities include: Design various site development projects including commercial, institutional, and residential plans from concept through construction including the following: site planning, site grading, site balancing, storm water design, horizontal and vertical design of underground utilities, obtain jurisdictional approvals/permits, and prepare design reports and construction plans using local and state standards. Prepare preliminary project cost estimates and evaluate quantitiesAssist with/review scope, budget, and schedule of new project tasksMonitor task budget and progressConduct on-site observations as neededMaintain multiple project assignmentsVerify field survey notes Prepare project status and other reportsAssist Project ManagersAttend client, public, project and staff meetings including client progress, plan review, pre-construction, etc. Attend seminars and/or training classesMaintain excellent client relationsMaintain a safe working environmentEducation:Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental EngineeringSkills/Experience:0 to 3 years of related experience requiredCompletion of Part I of the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam preferred Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and MicroStation In Roads is preferred
