Civil Engineering Project ManagerAs a Civil Engineering Project Manager for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), you will work closely with our principals in our civil/site practice to plan and execute projects within our commercial, industrial, and institutional sectors, communicate with clients, develop new client opportunities, and grow your career. You'll coordinate with other practices (including environmental, ecological, and surveying practices) to address project-specific needs. You will also manage/mentor staff and attend industry organization and client meetings.As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for:Utilizing your network to develop business for the Detroit officeWorking with the team to design and oversee all aspects of projects which will include site layout, grading, stormwater management, water quality best management practices, utilities, and construction detailsResponsible for Quality Control, client interfacing, budgeting, and mentoring and supervising junior engineersInteracting with clients, contractors, and local government officials, you'll impact the whole project - from concept, through the regulatory review process, bidding, and construction, all the way to the grand opening.QualificationsB.S. in Civil Engineering10+ years' professional engineering experienceProfessional Engineering License (P.E.)Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3DExperience and knowledge in Michigan related to civil site designAbility and desire to mentor staffAbility to provide a technical review of Civil Engineering DeliverablesAbility to prepare proposals and manage project executionAbility to interface with clients, network, and develop businessAbout UsCEC Detroit was established in September 2024 as an extension of our Toledo, Ohio, operations.
