Responsibilities IDEAL is looking to add a dynamic Business Development Manager to our growing sales team. This is a remote role with considerable travel required. Candidates based in FL, TX, NM, AZ or CA preferred.  What the role is all about: Creating and executing a strategic plan to deliver incremental revenue to the organization in growing vertical markets including Solar and EVs.  Developing relationships with distributors and contractors focused on these verticals and leveraging those relationships to sell company products Becoming the “expert” on assigned verticals and educating others in the organization Working closely with product team to identify new product development opportunities Developing a sales strategy and working with the sales teams to execute the strategy delivering revenue growth Supporting the National Account Managers/Regional Managers where distributors are focused on these verticals Identifying new channels of distribution and end user targets Qualifications Who you are: 3-5 years experience in sales and/or marketing with a record of demonstrated success Ability to develop and execute a strategic plan Outgoing and energetic person who enjoys engaging others Goal oriented with the desire to achieve sales targets Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple priorities Creative problem solver with strategic thinking skills Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc. College or University graduate Willing to travel as needed - estimated up to 70% What you get: Key role within sales organization working independently (remote position) Opportunity to build a business in a growing vertical from the ground up Opportunity for career advancement with an industry leading manufacturer Competitive compensation & benefits package Company car and additional resources to be successful.
