FOX45 in Baltimore has an opening for a sports reporter/anchor. We are looking for a tenacious reporter to really dig into both professional and amateur area sports teams with the expectation to break news on-air and on-line. The ideal candidate also understands the importance of how sports reporting is changing in the digital landscape and will bring new ideas to how FOX45 covers sports. A typical day might include hosting a podcast in the morning, shooting an interview for an upcoming report in the afternoon and then fronting a live shot from Camden Yards in the evening newscast. We want to hire a hungry, versatile, and digital reporting focused reporter that wants to immerse themselves into the Baltimore region sports teams.

Requirements:

Strong writing & video editing ability 2-5 years covering a high-level sports beat, both collegiate and professional Bachelor's degree in journalism or related subject preferred Use social media to build a dedicated audience A demonstrated ability to separate from the pack and find original approaches to storytelling Develop original enterprise reporting across all Baltimore teams
