Contract Logistics 2nd Shift Warehouse Associate

Your work at Kuehne+Nagel has more impact than you can imagine.‎The Warehouse Associate is responsible for moving materials within the warehouse and the loading / unloading of materials onto or from vehicles utilizing a forklift, reach truck, order picker or other heavy material handling equipment. The Warehouse Associate can be responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, verification, shipping/manifesting, screening and other various duties as assigned to ensure the full and efficient operation of the warehouse. You will perform multiple warehouse activities to ensure the full and efficient operation of the distribution center such as receiving, sorting, picking, packing, and shipping orders. You will work Monday - Friday, 3:30 pm - 12:00 midnight and will be paid weekly at $19.25 per hour. How you create impactResponsibilities:Verify and receive materials into inventoryVerify required inbound paperwork with drivers, ensuring that all products are properly countedEnsure inbound and outbound deliveries are accurate and free of damageMarks and inventories packages for storage or transitEnsure inbound and outbound deliveries are accurate and free of damageMarks and inventories packages for storage or transitMay also include palletizing and shrink-wrapDuties may include receiving, checking and storingMay be required to stack pallets and repeatedly lift up to fifty (50) poundsDangerous Goods”: when receiving dangerous goods, the necessary procedures must be followed and these shipments must be stored in the designated section of the warehouseUnderstand and adhere to local, State, and Federal regulations inclusive, but not limited, to OSHA, DOT, EPA and other government agencies.
