Position Description: Day & Nite is hiring skilled Refrigeration Technicians across Tiers 3 to 5 to support our growing footprint in commercial refrigeration service. These roles offer exciting career advancement through increasingly complex systemsfrom self-contained units and walk-ins to rack systems and closed-loop cooling. Technicians will work independently in the field, delivering technical excellence and best-in-class service to our foodservice and commercial clients.Tier 3 Intermediate Refrigeration TechnicianOverview:Handles a variety of commercial refrigeration systems including countertop units, large ice machines, and walk-in boxes. Works independently with moderate service responsibilities.Key Responsibilities:Replace evaporators and compressors in self-contained unitsService and install countertop and large-scale ice machinesTroubleshoot electronic refrigeration componentsPerform leak detection and advanced plumbingService walk-in coolers and freezersMaintain basic beer system units (e.g., self-contained power packs)Use digital systems to log parts and service dataProvide field mentorship to Tier 12 techniciansQualifications:2+ years of refrigeration experienceStrong diagnostic and repair skills in light to mid-range refrigerationEPA Certification requiredProficient in electronic troubleshooting and refrigeration basicsTier 4 Advanced Refrigeration TechnicianOverview:Specializes in high-performance refrigeration systems including blast chillers and rack setups. Leads advanced service calls and participates in complex installations.Key Responsibilities:Install and service walk-in coolers, freezers, and blast chillersDiagnose and repair refrigeration racks and electronic control systemsInterpret detailed wiring and piping schematicsOversee medium-to-large refrigeration system installationsMaintain safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction standardsMentor and support development of Tier 3 and below techniciansQualifications:4+ years of refrigeration experienceAdvanced understanding of rack systems and control diagnosticsAbility to oversee and manage project installationsStrong leadership and field training skillsTier 5 Expert Refrigeration TechnicianOverview:Elite-level technician with mastery in advanced rack systems, closed-loop cooling, and refrigeration control technology.
