Description Transdev in Boston, MA is seeking a Director of Contract Compliance and Procurement for its Boston Public Schools transportation contract. The Director of Contract Compliance and Procurement reports to the General Manager and serves as liaison between Transdev and BPS in all matters related to the BPS contract terms and conditions.Transdev is proud to offer: Compensation package of $105,000 (minimum} to $123,000 {maximum) per year (exempt).Benefits include: Vacation: minimum of two (2) weeksSick days: 5 daysHolidays: 12 days; 9 standard and 3 floatingOther standard benefits: 401(k) retirement plan, medical, dental and vision, life insurance, short-term disability, voluntary long-term disability.Benefits may vary depending on location policy.Key Responsibilities:Monitor performance data from all company departments to proactively address trends that warrant management attention.Review internal control processes; ensure that business processes are contract compliant, properly documented, support a strong control environment; and direct improvements and process changes as needed.Oversee procurement activities, documentation, schedules, and budgets for transportation projects and purchases of goods and subcontracted services exceeding established dollar thresholds.Oversee internal processing of contracts in compliance with Transdev's established approval thresholds and delegations of authority.Prepare procurement award recommendations for the General Manager and BPS. Direct the development of annual goals and performance related reports and assist with resolution of any contract related disputes. Monitor administrative and operational matters that affect financial and performance reporting, as well as compliance with contract deliverables.Establish compliance standards and design improvements to internal control structures. Assist with aligning monetary resources, developing action plans, measuring and analyzing results, initiating corrective actions, and minimizing impact of variances. Participate in project meetings and other events.Maintain confidentiality of all sensitive information. Perform special projects and other duties as required. Qualifications:A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related subject.Four (4) years of recent experience in contracting, project management, and procurement of goods and services. Experience in public procurement policy is preferred. Five (5) years of relevant work experience in a compliance environment, preferably in legal financial compliance. Managerial experience is preferred.Ability to assess, interpret, apply, and improve work processes and procedures. Must be detail oriented, well organized, and possess effective time management skills. Strong Microsoft 365 skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and similar programs.Excellent written and oral communication skills, including strong presentation skills. Ability to effectively present information one-on-one and in small groups.Ability to compose executive level correspondence, executive summaries and reports. Ability to coach and mentor employees, assign work, develop employees, assess performance and provide performance feedback. Proven customer service, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills. Ability to interact professionally with internal and external customers at all levels and demonstrate poise, tact, diplomacy, and utilize good judgment and discretion. Must work and interact effectively with diverse groups. Adhere to a dress code that demonstrates professionalism and respect.Physical Requirements: The essential functions of this position require the ability to:90% of work is accomplished indoors and in air conditioned or well-ventilated facilities.
