Mechanical Designer needed in ST. Petersburg, FL. Summary: A Mechanical Designer to work under the supervision of a Senior Mechanical Engineer and Project Managers on a portfolio of projects in education, assisted living, hospitality, and commercial office project types. Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time. Job responsibilities: Design and layout of engineering drawings for building HVAC systems Coordinate installation with other trades. Support workflow of foreman and project managers. Work from schematic sketches to produce plan drawings. Organize and file project drawings. Maintain company drawings and standards. Interact with clients in on-line coordination meetings and on-site with Project Managers. Design, size, select, schedule, and specify basic Plumbing system components to include fixtures, specialties, and equipment. Design and select HVAC systems and equipment Required: Associates degree or technical drafting certification 3+ years’ experience in mechanical design of HVAC systems for commercial buildings Familiarity with applicable building codes and associated engineering design practices Proficiency using AutoCAD Proficiency using Revit Pay:  $65-$85K Location: ST.
