Innova Solutions has a client that is immediately hiring for a TIG Welder. Position type: Full Time, Contract Duration: 6 + months possible to extension Location: Anaheim, CA, 92806 USA Shift : 6am-3:30pm - **Week 1: 45hours (5x9hr days) - **Week 2: 35 hours (3x9hrs with 1x8 hrs every other Friday) Primary Responsibilities: Layout work requirements and obtain needed equipment to perform routine repair and alteration operations, inspect weld for bead sized and compliance with other specifications Blend, grind, or polish weld ensuring specified minimum wall requirement is met Work with Engineering on new R&D projects and working with Redline Drawings. Prototype welding projects will be 50% of the job at times. Use calipers, micrometers, indicators, and gauges to measure repaired part and ensure dimensional requirements are met. Complete production paperwork Use and interpret complicated prints, drawings, and process sheets to perform a variety of layouts, as well as complete and sign work orders identifying the operations performed Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED equivalent 2+ years of TIG welding experience with stainless steel and Steel welding. Welding Certificate Level 1 Welding (GTAW Stainless Steel), required.
