Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain efficient staff schedules across departments or projects. Monitor workforce availability, forecast staffing needs, and adjust schedules accordingly. Collaborate with department heads, project managers, and HR to align staffing with business needs. Ensure compliance with labor laws, union agreements, and organizational policies. Resolve scheduling conflicts and manage last-minute changes or absences. Utilize scheduling software or workforce management tools to automate and streamline processes. Analyze scheduling data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement. Communicate schedules clearly and timely to all relevant personnel. Train and support staff in using scheduling systems and adhering to scheduling procedures. Prepare and present reports on scheduling effectiveness, productivity, and labor utilization. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required, Associate or bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred. 3 to 5 years of experience in scheduling or home care coordination in a healthcare setting. Ability to resolve conflict and client/family issues with scheduling. Attention to detail and strong time management abilities. Salary is dependent on experience On-call for after-hours scheduling support.
