Supporting about 350 million customers globally means we face some fascinating challenges around scale, user experience and quality.As a Software Engineer 4 at Asurion, you will be part of a team of 3-5 engineers as part of a cross-functional team containing product management, design, and data science. You will engineer solutions across our technology stack, including web, back-end, deployment pipelines and infrastructure. Your strong analytical and communication skills will help collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to solve problems and build world class solutions.In this position, you will be working on an industry leading AI first CRM technology used by daily by thousands of users call center experts across industry domains. Our platform puts AI powered tools into the hands of our experts, allowing them to provide industry leading customer support to our 250 million and counting global customers.ESSENTIAL JOB SKILLS/DUTIES:• Incorporate a whole-team approach to product development• Focus on utilizing lean startup techniques to build world-class products• Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes• Write high-quality code and unit tests• As part of a cross-functional team, engineer solutions across our technology stack, including web, mobile, and back-end.• Partner with product owners and design peers to take advantage of new technologies and continuously deliver value to the organizationSKILLS:Technical skills:• Expertise in and least one cloud computing platform: AWS, Azure, and/or GCP• Expertise deploying and scaling applications in serverless and container based environments• Demonstrable experience in React or other comparable modern Javascript web development framework• Command and expertise in backend web development: API design, implementation, database and web service integration• Experience building web apps, mobile apps, or cloud- hosted services using modern technologies• Experience utilizing lean and agile methodologies to ship code daily• Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes• Write high-quality code and unit testsSoft/Leadership skills:● Active listener; strong communication - verbal and non-verbal.
