Explore. this summerJob Summary:Preparing high-quality meals in a timely manner, following recipe guidelines and utilizing a variety of cooking methods. This role requires effective communication with the chef on duty and adherence to sanitation standards to ensure a clean and efficient kitchen environment.The Details:Position Type: SeasonalSeason Dates: starting in May and ending in September or October 2026 (exact dates vary by location)Pay: $18.85/hrSchedule: Typical schedule is 45-50 hours, 5 days per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)Why Glacier National Park?We are a welcoming community who work hard, share a real passion for the environment, and enjoy crafting memorable experiences for our guests. QualificationsSome culinary/fast food experience preferred, culinary arts degree preferred.Must have knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling etc.).Ability to communicate clearly so that others in the kitchen understand expectations and tasks.Ability to remain calm and work well in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.Physical Requirements include:Stand and walk for long periods of time, approximately 8 hours.Lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds.Bend, stretch, and reach for extended periods of time.
