Dine on innovative Louisiana cuisine, relax by our resort-style pool, and plan your own private event at our 34th-floor observation deck boasting NOLA’s best views.About the Role:Four Seasons Hotel and Residences New Orleans is seeking candidates to join our Miss River team as a Bartender. This role provides hotel guests and servers with quick and efficient beverage service with a complete working knowledge of all products served by the bar.What you will do:Prepare and serve a selection of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks from the menu while ensuring proper pouring, mixing, and blending according to established recipes and established Four Seasons Standards.Confirm guest orders including any special needs or requests from the lounge server using the hotel’s point-of-sales system; check completed orders with the guest’s original order. Service and take orders from guests seated at the bar area offering interesting, and vivid descriptions of the each item’s, origin, taste, and preparation methods; maintain a working knowledge of liquors, wines, beets, ports, Armagnacs, eau de vies, cognacs and specialty drinks.Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests. Properly and accurately close guest checks; process cash and credit card payments; properly settle voided checks or complimentary items.What you bring:A high school diploma or equivalentMust have an active Responsible Vendor Permit to serve alcoholMust have 2 years of experience in bars, preferably hotel barsAbility to pour, mix, and blend a wide variety, of wines, spirits, and missed drinks.Ability to accurately process cash and credit card transactions. What we offer:A Rewarding Work Culture, with mentoring, training and development opportunitiesComprehensive Benefits package including a world class Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance program401k participation with a company matching program after 30 days of employmentDiscounted Accommodations at Four Seasons WorldwideComprehensive Time off Package including Vacation pay, Sick pay and 9 paid Holidays, including Mardi GrasComplimentary employee meals prepared by the Four Seasons Culinary Team Complimentary uniforms that are laundered by our housekeeping departmentDiscounted parking near hotelSchedule and Hours:This position is a full-time position.
