As well as maintain a long-term relationship with customers, to represent the store in a positive manner and achieve sales goals while ensuring further business.Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesGreet customers and determine their wants and needsRecommend, select and help locate the right merchandiseRemain knowledgeable on products and discuss available optionsDescribe a product's features and demonstrate useHelp customers try on or fit merchandiseAnswer customer queries regarding the store and the merchandiseMaintain in-stock and presentable condition in the storeRestock inventoryStay up to date on all promotions and special offersOpen/close cash register and balance cash drawerReceive and process cash, and charge/credit paymentsCalculate discounts and special offers accuratelyWatch for and recognize security risks and thefts, know how to prevent or handle these situationsExchange merchandise for customersBag or package purchases, and wrap giftsClean shelves, counters, floors and tablesJob RequirementsEffective communication, with the ability to meet sales goalsPossess self-confidence and a presentable outgoing personalityAbility to work well with a team and communicate with sales managerReliable, hardworking, enthusiastic, with the ability to perform multiple assignments at the same timeAbility and willing to work on weekend and holidaysAbility to learn the art of professional greeting and attracting passive consumersPhysically fit to stand for long periods, and ability to lift moderate to heavy boxesMulberry & Grand is an equal opportunity employer.
