Compensation Pay Range:$21.00 - $24.10Provide assistance to the DC departments by performing various clerical duties. Serve as an assistant to immediate supervisor. Assist the DC manager with all aspects of clerical support needed to efficiently maintain the operation of the distribution center.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSInput daily shipments received and responsible for the accuracy of the entry.Log and assign batch numbers to incoming shipments.Maintain the UPS/RPS log book and audit entries for errors and make corrections.Make bin location changes as needed.Assist the receiving department in the scheduling and coordination of inbound freight.Maintain the reserve location system.Assist the returns department with clerical duties, primarily keypunching store credits, issuing customer credits, and maintaining core, warranty, and rebox tallies.Check credit edit report for errors.Make corrections, clear, and file all pick tickets.Call stores on all zeroed items and keep an accurate log.Research order picker accuracy.Key over/short report and productivity forms.Initiate computer system and distribute reports daily.Answer phones and greet visitors.Distribute messages and interoffice mail.Make copies as needed and order and maintain office supplies.Assist with production of weekly FYI publication.Serve as a backup for immediate supervisor taking on various tasks as needed to maintain the operation of the distribution center.All other duties as assigned.SKILLS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCERequired:High school diploma or equivalent (GED)Proficient in ten-key, data entry, and mid-range computer systemsStrong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skillsMust be able to oversee multiple tasks at one time and prioritize accordinglyProficient in PC basic programs for word processing and spreadsheetsMust work well in a team environmentDesired:Proficient in AS400 programs and system operations2+ years’ experience in the automotive industry or warehouse operationsPrevious clerical experienceFluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)O’Reilly Auto Parts has a proven track record of growth and stability.
