And as we continue to grow and fulfill our mission of “saving hospitals, saving jobs and saving lives,” we remain committed to delivering exceptional care, and creating a legacy that will improve healthcare.Prime Healthcare and the not-for-profit Prime Healthcare Foundation employ nearly 50,000 employees and physicians and own and operate 45 acute care hospitals in Alabama, California, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Missouri, Nevada, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Texas.If you wish to contribute to the Prime Healthcare legacy within a Director of Finance capacity for a hospital within our family of acute care hospitals (or one of our future hospitals), then join our executive leadership network to begin exploring immediate and future opportunities.  Responsibilities The Director of Financial Operations is charged with planning, organizing and influencing the company’s financial activities. Oversee Finance and payroll assuring financial records of the Hospital and Medical group are maintained following generally accepted accounting standards. Responsible for insuring timely reporting to the CFO in compliance with all local, state, and federal guidelines. Performs financial analysis for new and existing programs to ensure maximum profitability. Must Have Acute Care Hospital Experience Qualifications Education and ExperienceBachelor degree in Accounting/ finance or closely related field.Masters degree in Accounting/ Finance or closely related field highly preferred3-5 years management experience in a financial role.Extensive knowledge of Health Care Accounting practices and principles.Familiarity with computer accounting programs.Proficient in MS OfficeAbility to communicate proficiently in English both verbally and in writing.
