We believe our work and our brands can have incredibly positive impacts for not just our business and shareholders, but for people and the planet, too.Job DescriptionBASIC JOB FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES:Review machine layout per Team Lead assignmentResponsible for safe operation of molding machines and auxiliary equipment as assigned.Perform visual/dimensional inspection of products, machines, and molds criteria as required.Package and label parts as required.Responsible for quality and quantity of work produced.Allocate supplies needed to operate assigned machines, labels, supplies, pans, etc.Review mold change schedule; interface with department and tool room personnel when gathering supplies for mold changesGather supplies for mold changes- auxiliary equipment molds, tools, raw materials etc. Maintain a clean and organized work area and complete 5S dutiesPerform daily housekeeping of assigned machines, and auxiliary equipment.Place orders for parts or supplies through tool crib.Perform material handling functionsMay be required to work in other departments and in other job classifications.Responsible for other duties as assignedQualificationsQUALIFICATIONS:Must have a high school diploma or GEDNo write-ups as outlined in the Job Opportunity policyNo disciplinary write-ups in the last 6 monthsNo write-ups as outlined in the Job Opportunity policyNo corrective actions in the last 6 monthsCan not have less than 17 hours of unpaid time under the attendance policy the attendance policyHave not been awarded a job bid in the previous 12 monthsMust be able to pass applicable assessmentsMust be available to work overtime including weekendsMust obtain tow motor license within 3 weeks of selectionMust regularly lift and /or move up to 45 poundsMechanically inclined.Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a team environment.Must have basic computer knowledge Ability to work with little/limited supervisionAbility to read and comprehend work instructions in EnglishBasic Math skills – ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divideCandidates selected for position must successfully complete training/assessmentsPreferred Qualifications:Ability to read technical drawings, and prints.Ability to use measurement equipment.Hydraulics experienceSAP Experience3-6 months experience in plastic injection moldingselection:Not all candidates will be interviewed. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $45,780 USD - $54,912 USD.
