We're Hiring a Part-Time Accountant to Join Our TeamWe're seeking a talented and motivated Part-Time Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will support the Director of Finance with daily financial operations and assist with month-end financial statement preparation. This position requires a proactive, tech-savvy team player who is comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.Key Responsibilities· Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks Online, including transaction coding, reconciliations, and journal entries• Enter and manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) invoices• Prepare standard and custom financial reports, such as Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet statements• Maintain and update balance sheet schedules, including depreciation, leases, and prepaids• Analyze financial statements and explain discrepancies to the Director of Finance• Monitor the finance team's group email and communicate with third parties as needed• Collaborate closely with the Director of Finance and other team members as a dependable and communicative team player Required Qualifications· • 3–5 years of experience in bookkeeping and/or accounting (minimum of 2 professional references required)• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting• Proficiency in Office 365 (Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.)• Ability to work independently with attention to detail, confidentiality, and strong organizational skills• Willingness to work in-person 1–2 days per week in the office• Availability to work 12–15 hours per week, with potential for more depending on workload and time of month Preferred Qualifications· • Experience with ASC 842 lease accounting• Familiarity with Rippling payroll reporting and payroll allocation• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities• Excellent written and verbal communication skills Why Join Vheda Health?At Vheda Health, we invest in our team's wellbeing with a comprehensive benefits package:· Compensation: Competitive wage plus performance bonus and equity opportunities· Work-Life Balance: 11 company holidays· Community: Engaging team events and activities throughout the yearPIe7bd23bd6fe5-30511-39155132
