Help us help others, and join Team Unum today General Summary:The Territory Office Manager plays a critical role in the management of the Territory Office. Expertise is required to effectively interact with customers, sales representatives and other Territory Core Team members. This role is a key member of the Territory Core Team and a valued partner to the Territory Sales Manager (TSM). The Territory Office Manager is responsible for managing the daily operation of the Territory Office and providing direct support to the TSM by adeptly leveraging office systems and procedures. In addition, the Territory Office Manager has Territory-wide responsibilities for providing budget management and formulating existing account management data.Principal Duties and Responsibilities:Office Management (60%):Prioritizes and manages all aspects for the Territory Office, including: maintenance, administration, mailing, shipping, supply and equipment managementCreates and manages the weekly territory scheduleDetermines the technological and equipment needs of the Territory Office and collaborates with Enterprise partners to fulfill those needsSchedules and participates in conference calls with key business partnersDrives the planning and implementation of Territory Launch Day eventsEnsure security, integrity and confidentiality of data and marketing materials housed in the Territory OfficeCollaborates with territory, regional and Home Office business partners to ensure that business is conducted in a smooth and efficient mannerPartner with other Core Team members to support territory recruiting and prospecting goals.Territory Communication & Meeting Planning (25%):Partner with TSM to create territory communication strategy and drive the execution of that strategy, including the creation/preparation of a territory newsletterPartner with the TSM on the territory’s account management process using internal reportingOrganize and coordinate territory meetings and events, including: communications, logistics, budget and vendor management Coordinate and attend conference calls with key business partnersDraft and distribute territory-wide leadership communications in partnership with the TSMGenerate and distribute sales reportsCreate slides and business presentations for delivery by Core Team membersInterpret customer inquiries and provide appropriate guidance Assist Territory Sales Manager (15%):Partner with the TSM to manage the TSM’s calendar and scheduleShare weekly sales reports, prospecting activities and recruiting informationPrepare and distribute information for performance management review sessionsSchedule and manage TSM business travel and submit expense reportsCreate proposals for TSM as neededMay perform other duties as assignedJob Specifications:Associates Degree or higher with three or more years of experience as an Office Manager or Administrator is preferredComputer skills and proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and other software systems to support office various office operations/communicationsExcellent time management skills and ability to work independently and prioritize workStrong organizational skillsAbility to effectively manage multiple tasks and projectsExcellent written and oral communication skillsDemonstrates attention to detailStrong problem-solving skillsStrong customer service orientationDemonstrates discretion in handling confidential matters#LI-PO1IN1Unum and Colonial Life are part of Unum Group, a Fortune 500 company and leading provider of employee benefits to companies worldwide. Unless actual salary is indicated above in the job description, actual pay will be based on skill, geographical location and experience.$52,440.00-$99,100.00Additionally, Unum offers a portfolio of benefits and rewards that are competitive and comprehensive including healthcare benefits (health, vision, dental), insurance benefits (short & long-term disability), performance-based incentive plans, paid time off, and a 401(k) retirement plan with an employer match up to 5% and an additional 4.5% contribution whether you contribute to the plan or not.
