Description Summary: Location: Chicago, Illinois, Los Angeles, California or Dallas Texas, USAThe Senior Director I, Region Marketing West provides leadership and support for the development and execution of market activation programs within assigned brands, geographies, and/or channels. This role partners with internal and external stakeholders to drive effective implementation of programs and initiatives that support value and growth objectives.KEY WORKING PARAMETERSFocus, Scope, & Impact: Leads a team of regional integrated marketers focused on assets and franchise relationships Represents the Category OU platforms/programming/innovation in Governance Routines at region and aligning bottlers & customers to support the plans Responsible for assessing and analyzing consumer insights and passions, as well as, leveraging industry intel and knowledge to create core marketing strategies to drive revenue growth and enable OU’s achieve business plan Enhances commercial priorities with compelling sales and marketing platforms within the regions (by bottler by market) amplifying the national plans with the local marketing assets Responsible for activating local market assets and engaging in the Collaborative Business Planning process creating key strategies that reinforce The Coca-Cola Partner Commitment with those partners Leads regional customer marketing with our larger regional retail customers within the region supporting their core strategies via the Collaborative Business Plan Collaborate with Creative Operations to deliver regional and customer creative marketing content Key focus is on long term (3-5 year) brand preference building, increasing our per cap consumption and revenue and creating long term, winning strategic plans with our bottlers and customers KEY SUCCESS PARAMETERSEducationMinimum Required: Bachelor’s degreePreferred Level: MBA or other graduate degreeExperienceMinimum Required:3–5 years of experience, preferably in the consumer goods/beverages industry or sports businessExperience leading small teams and/or cross-functional projectsStrong analytical and insights abilityGeneral Manager MindsetStrategic thinking and effective communication skillsCustomer and regional (local market) marketing experienceExposure to shopper insights, partnership management, and annual planningPreferred Level:7–9 years of experience in the consumer goods/beverages industry or sports businessExperience in marketing partnerships and customer marketingExperience working with marketing assets and supporting financial managementWork FocusContribute to building and maintaining a high-performing and engaged teamDevelop customer and partnership skillsSupport the implementation of national sales and marketing plans across regions and customersAssist in asset planning, partnership management, and customer marketing activitiesDemonstrate strategic and creative thinkingAbility to interpret shopper behavior, brand strategies, and channel/customer needs, and help turn this knowledge into actionPrevious experience in customer/shopper/region/channel management is a plusDemonstrated personal leadership and influencing skillsCommunication FocusCommunicates regularly with internal teams, bottlers, and local marketing assets, as well as regional customersCollaborates with category leads, partnerships, connections, and creative to support customer and system engagementWorks to align interests with bottlers and local assetsThe Coca-Cola Company will not offer sponsorship for employment status (including, but not limited to, H1-B visa status and other employment-based nonimmigrant visas) for this position.
