The Senior Private Banker will source & maintain relationships with high net worth clientele. The Senior Private Banker primarily delivers private banking credit and deposit solutions. Additionally, will partner with wealth management, retail, commercial banking & other lines of business to provide financial solutions across the UMB footprint through an exclusive delivery model. A Senior Private Banker may be called upon to provide market leadership.How you will spend your time:Call on prospective and existing high net worth clients to develop new businessPossess industry knowledge of trends, products, technology, and competitionMaintain a client book of businessExecute an ongoing proactive client contact strategy utilizing CRM toolTake active or leadership role in community, civic, and/or charitable organizations and eventsActively participate with wealth team in development of key customer plans & reviewsDevelop relationships with COI's (i.e. realtors, attorneys, financial advisors, accountants) that will generate business opportunitiesParticipation and attendance at meetings and functions as assignedEngage with clients through company sponsored activities and eventsMeet individual/team performance and operational goals Act as mentor to peersOther duties as assignedWe're excited to talk with you if:You have a college degree or 7 years experience in direct financial salesYou have 10 years of wealth management/private banking experience in the financial services industryYou possess valid drivers' license and have independent transportationYou are able to obtain an NMLS registration within 90 daysYou demonstrate strong presentations skills, including being an excellent listener and the ability to make direct sales presentationsYou demonstrate willingness to maintain Series 65 and Life licensesYou demonstrate extensive knowledge of Trust & Bank products & services (i.e. Investments, Insurance, Brokerage, Private Banking, & Retirement Planning)You demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skillsYou demonstrate strong attention to detailYou demonstrate general office skills, including use of phone, computer, fax, and other office equipmentYou demonstrate proficiency in use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)You demonstrate ability to address customer concerns positively, tactfully, and diplomatically, and must present self very professionally and courteously at all timesYou demonstrate ability to work with all clients & prospects of varied backgrounds & experiencesYou demonstrate high level of energy & drive, ability to self start, enthusiasm, with a motivation to be highly successful in a relationship selling environmentCompensation Range:$99,750.00 - $214,370.00The posted compensation range on this listing represents UMB’s standard for this role, but the actual compensation may vary by geographic location, experience level, and other job-related factors. In addition, this range does not encompass the full earning potential for this role.
