Private Banker IIThe Private Banker II (PBII) will source and maintain relationships with high-net-worth clientele. The PBII primarily delivers private banking credit and deposit solutions. Additionally, will partner with wealth management, retail, commercial banking & other lines of business to provide financial solutions across the UMB footprint through an exclusive delivery model.How you will spend your time:Call on prospective and existing high net worth clients to develop new business.Possess and maintain industry knowledge of trends, products, technology, and competition.Maintain a client book of business.Execute an ongoing proactive client contact strategy utilizing Salesforce tool.Take active or leadership role in community, civic, and/or charitable organizations and events.Actively participate with wealth team in development of key customer plans & reviews.Develop relationship with COI's (i.e. realtors, attorneys, financial advisors, accountants) that will generate business opportunities.Participation and attendance at meetings and functions as assigned.Engage with clients through company sponsored activities and events.Meet individual/team performance and operational goals.Other duties as assigned.We're excited to talk with you if you have:College degree or 7+ years of experience in direct financial sales5+ years of wealth management/private banking experience in the financial services industryPossess valid drivers' license and have independent transportationNMLS registration within 90 days Expertise in mortgage and consumer lendingStrong presentations skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProficient in use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)Address customer concerns and needsAbility to work with high-net-worth clients & prospects of varied backgrounds & experiencesAnalyze and interpret client financial statements and tax returnsDemonstrates knowledge of Trust & Bank products & services (i.e. Investments, Insurance, Brokerage, & Retirement Planning)Proven success in financial services and salesCompensation Range: $83,200.00 - $178,800.00UMB offers competitive and varied benefits to eligible associates, such as Paid Time Off; a 401(k) matching program; annual incentive pay; paid holidays; a comprehensive company sponsored benefit plan including medical, dental, vision, and other insurance coverage; health savings, flexible spending, and dependent care accounts; adoption assistance; an employee assistance program; fitness reimbursement; tuition reimbursement; an associate wellbeing program; an associate emergency fund; and various associate banking benefits.
