In this role, the successful candidate will collaborate effectively with colleagues and cross-functional teams, demonstrate strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, and maintain a commitment to professional excellence, quality, and continuous improvement.As a Service Technician I, you’ll be addressing our customers' equipment maintenance and repair needs. The position is tasked with assuring customer satisfaction through timely and efficient maintenance and repair. The position focus is customer satisfaction and continual improvement in the quality of our products and services.More specifically, you’ll be…Calibrating electronic equipmentDeveloping troubleshooting and repair skillsSupporting customer calibration and maintenance of Particle Measuring Systems' micro contamination monitoring equipmentResearching customer problems and complaintsActing as a liaison between customers and various departmentsTo succeed in this role, you’ll haveAssociate’s degree in Electronics or military equivalentAbility to read schematics in EnglishKnowledge of A/C and D/C converters, microprocessors, analog and digital circuitsKnowledge of helium-neon lasers, diode Lasers, and/or collecting and condensing optics is helpful but not requiredStrong Troubleshooting skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independentlySome travel requiredTeam player focused on customer satisfaction and quality, with a sense ofurgencyWork Environment & Physical RequirementsThis role primarily operates in a lab.
