JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTSThe Penn State Berkey Creamery is currently seeking students who are looking for part-time work on campus, at our Creamery Arts Festival Tent and Store. We are currently looking to fill the week of Arts Festival hours first, followed by the rest of summer and fall semester. You are welcome to start sooner, but the dates of July 7th-th are what we need most. No experience is required and we will show you everything on the job. If hired, it is required to work a minimum of hours during July 7th-th, and approximately hours from 7/ to 7/. If you decide to stay during Fall semester, we require you to work at least 2 shifts a week: one 4-hour shift during each weekend and one weekday shift.Job duties include:scooping ice creamrunning the registersproviding exceptional customer servicecleaning as neededfollowing proper cleaning and sanitation proceduresstocking the shelves of the storeQualifications:no experience is neededability to follow simple directions and instructions from supervisorsgood customer service qualitiesAllergy Warning: This position requires staff to handle nuts and nut-based products.BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCESEmployment with the University will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies.CAMPUS SECURITY CRIME STATISTICSPursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 8, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR).
