Senior Accountant

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing the financial activities of the company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This role will play a key part in financial reporting, analysis, and decision-making processes. Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of the general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial dataPrepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAPConduct financial analysis, including variance analysis and trend analysis, to support decision-makingAssist in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processesOversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing and collectionsMonitor cash flow and manage cash flow projections to optimize liquidityCoordinate and lead the annual external audit processDevelop and implement internal controls and procedures to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulationsProvide support and guidance to junior accounting staffCollaborate with other departments to support financial and operational objectivesStay current on accounting regulations and industry trends, and ensure compliance with relevant changes Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred5+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with progressive responsibilityStrong knowledge of GAAP and financial accounting principlesProficiency in accounting software and MS Excel; experience with ERP systems a plusExcellent analytical skills and attention to detailStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentProven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Benefits: Competitive salaryComprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverageRetirement savings plan with employer matchPaid time off and holidaysOpportunities for professional development and advancement Location: This position is 100% onsite at our office in Tucker, GA.
