Come with us as Event Technician Motorsports on this exciting journey and experience the fascination of Riedel Communications in action.The role offers flexibility and can be filled either as a permanent position or on a freelance basis.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES You plan, prepare, and execute motorsport projects worldwide. You set up, configure, and maintain analog and digital radio communication systems, as well as wireless and wired intercom and video systems. You deploy and manage small-to-mid-scale IT systems and diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues at the module level, both trackside and on-site with customers. You document technical setups, project activities, and configurations, providing technical advice, feedback, and recommendations. You keep an overview of equipment and manage the onsite inventory. You effectively coordinate and work closely with event planners and racing teams in a dynamic and diverse environment. THAT'S YOU Advanced-level technical, operational, and troubleshooting knowledge to support equipment and requirements for events of various scales Successfully completed technical training (e.g., mechatronics, event technology, electronics, IT, or communication electronics) Strong expertise and enthusiasm for radio, intercom, audio, and IT technologies Experience in motorsports, event technology, or broadcasting is a plus High willingness to travel frequently and flexibility to participate in high-profile racing events Passion for end-to-end project execution and problem-solving Excellent English communication skills; additional languages are a plus Valid driver’s license and authorization to legally work in the US WE OFFER Life and Work balance through our flexible working time system including mobile working in a hybrid model Career booster with numerous individual development and training opportunities Diversity is very important to us, at RIEDEL we focus on an open working atmosphere, inclusion is part of our Culture - it is about the people and their personality that matters We’re contributing to your career development.
