Armed Field Team Security OfficerRole:An Armed Field Team Security Officer plays a critical role in maintaining a safe environment for clients, employees, and visitors by enforcing security procedures and responding to potential threats. This position requires carrying a firearm and using sound judgment in high-pressure situations. To qualify, officers must be licensed, trained in firearm safety, and adhere to all applicable laws and regulations.Minimum Qualifications:• Must have or obtain a Valid Security License as required by the state licensing authority.• Must have a valid driver’s license from your state of residence.• Special qualifications:Must be 21+ years old.Must pass Armed training and hold a valid pistol permit.Driving post: must have a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).Must have full flexibility of scheduling to assist covering multiple sites.Duties & Responsibilities:• Security OperationsPerform regular patrols to enhance safety and identify security concerns.Monitor access points, verify IDs and credentials.Enforce procedures per Security Post Instructions.• Incident Response & ReportingRespond swiftly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents per protocol.Maintain accurate logs of activities and observations.Execute routine tasks: locking/unlocking doors, managing security systems, and monitoring surveillance.• Customer Service & ProfessionalismAssist visitors and employees, addressing concerns professionally.Enforce SEI and Client policies (e.g., smoking, loitering, parking).Maintain a clean, pressed uniform and professional appearance.Required Skills & Abilities:• Minimum Required:Ability to work in fast-paced, high-stress environments.Availability to work weekends.Strong situational awareness and curiosity.Ability to stay calm and problem-solve in critical situations.Basic computer skills; able to use a tablet for reporting.• Preferred:Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.Minimum Physical Requirements:• Stand for at least 1 hour without support or break• Sit for at least 1 hour without break• Walk at least ½ mile without stoppingEducation & Experience:Minimum:Education: HS Diploma or equivalentExperience: 1+ years of verifiable security, military or law enforcement experience.Preferred:Experience: 3+ years of verifiable security, military or law enforcement experience. Note: The Role, Responsibilities, Qualifications, Skills & Abilities, and Education & Experience described above are not a comprehensive list.
