Benefits & Perks:Career growth opportunitiesGreat team membersFlexible work scheduleProfessional DevelopmentResponsibilities:Detailed file reviews for review and audit engagements under various reporting frameworks – ASPE, ASNPO, PSAS, special reportingInvolvement in planning and budgeting for assurance engagementsSupport throughout the engagement and completion of the engagement to meet all standards – both CPA and internal firm standardsPerformance of Engagement Quality Control ReviewsMentoring and coaching staff on a virtual platform throughout the individual engagementCollaborating with all offices to help them achieve exceptional client service through the management of capacity at the Firm levelIdentifying opportunities for efficiencies within the assurance engagement processAssist the Director of Assurance in researching new or changing Canadian standards for both accounting and assurance, preparing presentations, and presenting that information to staffSupport the Director of Assurance in relation to the development and implementation of standardization within the assurance departmentQualifications:CPA designationContinued professional development in the area of ASPE, ASNPO, PSAS, and CAS3+ years of extensive detailed file review experience in both audit and review engagementsSolid understanding of quality control and public accountingSignificant practical experience in Canadian accounting frameworks – ASPE, ASNPO, and PSASSignificant practical experience of CAS and Other Canadian StandardsStrong knowledge of audited and reviewed financial statements relating to presentation and disclosureExperience with mentorship and delivery of development feedback within the engagement processExperience with Caseware/Caseview, Jazzit, Keystone, Excel, ProfileJob ID: MT492169512 If you are interested in this position and meet the qualifications, apply today We thank all applicants; however, only those who are authorized to work in Canada or are selected for an interview will be contacted.
