A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for an Equipment & Tool Engineer Position Type: Full Time (Contract) Duration: 12 months Location: Auburn, WA As an Equipment & Tool Engineer, you will: This is an equipment development, implementation, and improvement role. Your duties will include (but are not limited to): Evaluate program and project requirements, develop complex equipment concepts and design solutions for the Production System. Compile and analyse technical data to determine the effects on product engineering design, usability, and rate estimates. Ensure compliance with safety, producibility, maintainability, reliability, ergonomic factors and regulatory requirements. Develop and release bid and purchase specifications for equipment needs from suppliers. Troubleshoot current production issues related to quality, safety, and repeatability. Develop and implement workarounds and maintain configuration of hardware and documentation. Perform studies and make recommendations for disposition of assets. The ideal candidate will have: • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry (ABET is a preferred, although not required, accreditation standard) Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of various manufacturing techniques Experience in automation and robotics Ability to learn in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills and an ability to collaborate across diverse teams We are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar positions.
