Christ the King Catholic School is seeking an engaging, faith-filled middle school teacher This position is responsible for teaching Math to our middle school students. The ideal candidate will be a passionate educator willing to be a team player and play an integral role in enhancing the education we provide. Christ the King boasts small class sizes and a connected community. Our faculty works collaboratively with one another to provide a challenging curriculum that is presented through quality instruction and is authentic to our Catholic faith. Job Responsibilities: Serves in a ministry position as a religious leader, working in faith formation as part of a vibrant, Catholic, faith-filled educational community. Provides Indiana math content standard instruction for students. Develops lesson plans with clear objectives in line with the Diocesan and school curriculum. Provides grade- appropriate extended or enrichment opportunities. Maintains appropriate classroom management through positive discipline techniques to enhance the learning environment. Maintains accurate and complete records of students' progress and development. Provides regular and consistent communication with parents, students, staff, and administration. Performs assigned duties when needed for the supervision of students before, during, or after school including lunch duties, recess duties, dismissal duties, detention, and any other duties assigned by the administration. Participates in faculty meetings, school committees, and in-service learning opportunities. Attends school events including Back to School Nights, Open Houses, Parent/Teacher conference days, and other events as requested by the administration.
