Founded in 1966, Paul Davis is a rapidly growing network of more than 370 independently owned and operated franchises in the United States and Canada. Paul Davis will grow to become over a $2 Billion business in the next 5 years.Position: Business Development Manager Hours/Week: Full-time, 40+ hoursCompensation: Strong base salary commensurate with experience plus commission Bonus opportunities Medical, dental and vision coverage offered PTO and paid holidays Cell phone and computer provided by company Reports To: Owner Territory: South St. Louis AreaSummary: To increase awareness of the Paul Davis brand To promote the services of Paul Davis To build industry relationships Responsibilities: Build strong relationships with current and potential clients through B2B, organized events, and cold calling Organize and schedule a calendar of consistent Business-To-Business visits Ensure staff uses the Paul Davis brand correctly in accordance with Brand Standards Utilize marketing technology software to upload contacts to the CRM, send email campaigns, customize and print marketing collateral, track sales calls, leads, referrals, and notes Collaborate with the franchisor, read weekly communications, and schedule consistent meetings with the Regional Marketing Manager Attend business networking functions to promote the business Research local trade shows and coordinate Paul Davis booth set-up Attend training courses and annual conference seminars as requested Any other duties and responsibilities may be assigned on a needed basis Find means foster commercial real estate relationships and referrals Reach out to insurance adjusters daily to create a referral relationship Skills and Knowledge: Strong verbal and written communications Strategic thinking and planning Project management and multitasking capability Strong organizational skills Exemplary computer skills, i.e. Internet & Microsoft Office Personal Characteristics: Professional demeanor Personable, presentable, articulate Open, cooperative, enthusiastic Self-directed with exceptional initiative Qualifications: Marketing, Public Relations or Communications degree Two or more years’ sales and marketing experience Franchise, restoration, construction/home improvement, and/or insurance industry experience ideal
