Description :​BCC Engineering, a Parsons Company, is looking forward to hiring an entry levelAssociate Drainage Engineer In this role, you will be trained and mentored under supervision in the utilization of engineering theories and practices and gain valuable exposure to company standards and exciting projects.What You'll Be Doing:Working under the supervision of a licensed engineer, perform spread calculations, hydrologic and hydraulic analysis and design, drainage tabulation analysis, and drainage map delineation to create plans for GDOT and other clientsApproach tasks with an open mindset; propose innovative solutions to design problemsPrepare engineering reports and contract documents for review by a licensed engineer;May track and provide initial review tasks of technicians or designersResponsible for managing timely completion of multiple assigned tasksCommunicate effectively with team members and internal design groups; external communication as required on assigned tasksEffectively present proposed design solutions as part of internal project meetings; may attend and contribute to presentations with external partiesWork with internal and external sources on Environmental Resource Permitting (ERP) of projectsAdhere to company marketing requirements by providing timely resume updates and participating in marketing campaignsEnsure timely completion of time sheets and expense reportsTake ownership of personal career development by seeking and providing feedback, seizing opportunities to develop new skills, and setting and pursuing personal goalsWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering0-3 years ExperienceSecurity Clearance Requirement:NoneThis position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team.For more than 80 years, our experts have designed and delivered the critical infrastructure that connects and protects communities around the world.
