Description :Parsons is looking forward to hiring an entry level Associate Bridge Engineer as a new graduate level engineer you on our Indianapolis transportation team In this role you will utilize and expand your ability for bridge designworking alongside an experienced team on major state and area projectsWe offer mentoring, training, education reimbursement, a bonus for your first PE license, great benefits and competitive salariesWhat You'll Be Doing:Design and analysis of conventional and complex bridges, culverts, earth retaining structures and other underground structuresAssist with preparation of new design and rehabilitation plans and calculations using federal, state, and local specifications, guidelines and standardsReview supplier drawing submittalsProduce data sheets and perform technical bid analysisCADD design and coordination including some draftingWhat Required Skills & Qualifications You'll Bring:Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with structural engineering emphasisBridge design and engineering experience from a combination of class instruction and/or internshipsGood technical writing skills, including proficiency with the Microsoft Office SuiteSelf-motivation to work independently as well as through coordination with other team membersAbility to communicate across disciplinesWhat Preferred Skills & Qualifications You'll Bring:Familiarity with structural analysis software including LEAP, STADD, or similarMicroStation and/or AutoCAD/Civil 3D experienceEngineer in Training CertificationMasters of Science in Civil Engineering with emphasis in structural engineeringSecurity Clearance Requirement:NoneThis position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team.For more than 80 years, our experts have designed and delivered the critical infrastructure that connects and protects communities around the world.
