Ready to own the details that deliver for customers?Do you enjoy turning system cues into real-world results? Can you keep accuracy high while the pace picks up? In this role, you’ll pick, verify, package, and ship materials with care—supporting on-time delivery and inventory integrity. You’ll partner daily with Customer Service, Purchasing, Planning, Operations, and Material Control to ensure every order moves correctly and safely.What success looks likeUse forklifts and other equipment to pick materials; double-check part numbers, quantities, and condition.Load/unload trucks and prepare shipments—palletizing, labeling, and completing carrier, international, and dangerous goods paperwork (certifications provided when needed).Record physical and ERP goods movements; execute stock transfers and fulfill material requests.Replenish production areas and other zones as assigned to keep workflows smooth.Adhere to control procedures and policies; actively support and promote a safe workplace.Be adaptable—train across warehouse operations, including material control and traffic, as required.When and where you’ll workHours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PMWarehouse setting with approximately 95% of time indoors and 5% outdoors.Bring your strengthsRequiredHigh school diploma or GED.1+ year of related experience.Eligibility to obtain forklift certification.Basic computer literacy and comfort navigating work systems.Ability to lift/carry 10–55 lbs on a continuous basis.PreferredHands-on forklift time with counterbalance, stock picker, and/or reach truck.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP/WMS tools.Experience in warehousing/distribution, including shipping, receiving, and cycle counting.Self-starter who also collaborates well in a fast-changing environment.Clear communicator with a cooperative mindset; dependable attendance.Why STERISCompetitive pay with annual bonus and merit consideration.18 days of sick/vacation PTO per calendar year plus 9 paid holidays.Medical, dental, and vision coverage.Short- and long-term disability.401(k) with company match.Maternity and paternal leave.Additional perks such as pet insurance programs.Tuition reimbursement and continuing education support.Career advancement and long-term stability.Pay range for this opportunity is $20 - $21.This position is eligible for bonus participation.Legal/Physical requirements (verbatim)Ability to continually meet all ADA factors as detailed within this job description: Continuously (67-100% of the time): Lift or carry 10-55lbs, Stand or walk, Light grasping, Keyboard, Writing, Operate heavy machinery, Seeing ,Depth perception Frequently (34-66% of the time): Push or pull 10-55lbs, Bend or twist, Reach below the knee, Reach above the shoulder, Squat or kneel, Climb, Sit, Speaking, Hearing.
