Overview BlueWater is seeking a Systems/Network Administrator, responsible for installation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of SCSTC network systems across multiple training sites. The Systems Administrator will support classified and unclassified LANs, servers, and virtualized environments. The Surface Combat Systems Training Command (SCSTC) is the U.S. Navy's global center for combat systems training, responsible for preparing personnel to operate, maintain, and tactically employ surface combat systems across all major fleet concentration areas and international partner sites. Responsibilities Provide system administration for servers, workstations, and network devices. Manage user accounts, access control, and directory services. Perform patch management, backups, and system recovery operations. Monitor system performance and implement corrective measures to maintain network uptime. Support system hardening, cybersecurity inspections, and compliance with STIGs and RMF requirements. Install and configure virtualization environments (VMware, Hyper-V) and maintain network connectivity across training systems. Qualifications Active Secret clearance is required. 4+ years of systems or network administration experience in DoD environments. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in IT or related field. DoD 8140.03 IAT Level II (Security+ CE, GSEC, SSCP); OS-specific certs (MCSA, Linux+, CCNA) preferred.
