The Inventory Control Specialist role ensures the accuracy of the data in our internal systems compared to the physical counts of inventory. This position collaborates across departments to identify issues and resolve trends, presenting proactive solutions that serve our customers. Inventory Control Specialists work independently and efficiently across departmental teams and are expected to fulfill their responsibilities with precision and care. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Run various reports that identify potential systematic issues with inventory, investigate appropriately and resolve any found problemsSearch for inaccuracies and errors, such as misplaced stock, while conducting and processing scheduled weekly cycle countsComplete inventory adjustments based off differences in physical counts and research using the company’s ERP systemUse forklift equipment to replenish pick bins with overstock productIdentify and process damaged inventory throughout the warehouse to maintain accurate inventory levelsEnsure that misplaced or mistakenly picked items are returned to the correct bin locationSafely operate and maintain warehouse equipment to fulfill job duties to ensure a safe work environmentPick wrap/kit list for repack items and transport completed product throughout the warehouse for put-awayMeet all expected performance standards regarding efficiency, accuracy and quality of workMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following all safety guidelines and reporting any hazards to the appropriate leadership.Work closely with team members and leadership to meet daily, weekly, and monthly departmental goalsAbide by all company and warehouse policiesFlex into other positions and departments and undertake additional duties as necessary to support the overall operation. Occasional activities may involve exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity, and exposure to dust, fumes, and gases. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate. The passage of employees through the work area is average and normal. Ability to operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, order pickers, etc.Proficiency with MS Office required (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Strong analytical and problem-solving skills requiredStrong verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentAbility to quickly adapt as business needs change; ability to address difficult situations with diplomacy and emotional intelligenceCustomer service-oriented attitude with a demonstrated desire to exceed expectations This role does not require a degree.
