We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Payroll Operations Manager to assist team members with tactical and operational functions for multi-state payroll processing, reporting, and general ledger and tax reporting and research, within the Payroll Services Department. What You Will Do: Ensure multi-cycle, multi-state payrolls are processed accurately and timely for all companies within Player 15 Group Ensure compliance with all applicable Federal, State and local tax and labor laws Ensure proper reporting, both cash and non-cash, and accurate tax withholdings from payments to team members Identify areas and make recommendations to improve processes and create efficiencies within processes Perform system administrative and maintenance functions Ensure accuracy of paid time off accruals Audit of payroll tax returns and tax deposits to ensure timeliness and accuracy Provide performance feedback, goal setting, training and development for all Payroll team members Oversee pay card program Oversee the documentation of payroll related processes Prepare reports for internal and external customers as requested Provide back up to payroll processing, GL, and payroll tax functions as needed What We Need From Our Senior Payroll Operations Manager: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word and Excel Ability to solve problems and make sound business decisions Ability to maintain confidentiality of employees’ personal data and the Organization’s financial data Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize Attention to detail, excellent communication and analytical skills Experience/ Education Requirements: High school diploma or GED BS or BA preferred Minimum 5 years Payroll, Accounting, or similar financial experience Minimum 3 years supervisory experience preferred What You Can Expect: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by Senior Payroll Operations Manager to optimally perform the essential functions of this role.
