Develops/formulates Deployment issues, problems and needs in at least one technical area. Has acknowledged expertise at conceptual level of technical skills and knowledge in at least one program area. Has basic understanding of State energy/environmental economic development issues. Creativity in Project & Program Development Has developed and managed projects with little specific direction. Develops new projects and co-funding sources with own initiative. Carried out development of several projects through competitive solicitation phase that may or may not result from own initiative. Has provided ideas and rationale for program development in at least one technical area. Organization Skills & Productivity Has demonstrated ability to implement projects in a timely manner. Demonstrates the capability to manage all aspects of on going projects with no supervision. Is able to prioritize workload with other responsibilities. Effectively discharges general technical and project management assignments in a timely manner. Demonstrates strategic thinking connected to the organization's goals. Leadership / Interpersonal Relations /Judgement: Has demonstrated ability to effectively head working groups or program teams. Provides guidance to junior staff when appropriate and can supervise the day-to-day work of interns. Has full confidence of peers and superiors. Communication Skills & External Relations Has demonstrated ability to produce both written material and verbal presentations that are direct, recognize and focus on issues, are both comprehensive and concise and require editing only in most sensitive and complex areas. N/A Certifications and qualifications, including education/degree Bachelor's degree required Graduate degree, PMP certification, Six Sigma and/or Lean certification preferred IT systems that will be used Microsoft Office, Teams, SharePoint, Asana, Oracle PeopleSoft, Salesforce Tasks -Support strategies to develop and deploy programs to support code advancement and compliance/enforcement to improve building outcomes and support operational efficiency with partners -Evolve and continuously adapt strategies to optimize impact and effectiveness based on results, market data and insights, evaluation, expertise, and critical thinking-Effectively manage consultant and municipal contracts against established risks, deliverables, schedule, and budget to insure maximum likelihood of success and prudent use of NYSERDA resources-Develop collaborative relationships and engage with key stakeholders and partners in the codes and zoning ecosystem, including code officials, local elected officials, building professionals, and advocates-Quantify and document program activities and assess progress against established goals-Coordinate closely with the NYS Department of State and other state and local agencies/departments on policy and regulatory advancements -Represent NYSERDA in collaborative efforts with private and public organizations and institutions-Develop subject matter expertise on codes and zoning, and provide support as needed to other NYSERDA programs-Model diligent attention to NYSERDA processes and champion process improvements-Perform other responsibilities as assigned that contribute to the key outcomes of the Codes, Products, & Standards team
