What Drives Success We are seeking a technically savvy leader to join our dynamic ADP Product Management team. As a Manager of Product Management, you will be responsible for leading the product management team as well as developing and executing the product portfolio strategy of the Advanced Distributor Products offerings. This role will also have direct responsibility for specialty product lines such as Evaporator Coils, Air Handlers and Unit Heaters. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, sales, and customer support, to ensure our product offerings meet market demands and drive customer satisfaction. We are looking for a leader to guide product development initiatives, anticipate market trends, and champion product enhancements to maintain and expand our competitive edge in the industry.LeadershipCultivate and develop a high performing culture within the Product Management organization.Use coaching and mentoring strategies to develop team members to realize their full potential.Product Strategy and Planning:Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap aligned with our business objectives.Develop processes to conduct market research, voice of customer and competitive analysis to identify product opportunities and drive innovation, market leadership claims, revenue growth and margin expansion.Define product requirements, features, and functionality based on market needs and collaborate with engineering teams for product development.Product Management and Development:Manage product development lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring on-time delivery, quality, and cost-effective solutions.Develop periodic product performance reviews to advise business leadership of actions and recommendations to the portfolio.Work closely with sales, engineering and program management teams to prioritize development of new features and products.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create excellent quality product documentation, specifications, user manuals, and training materials.Commercialization Strategy and Support:Collaborate with marketing teams to develop effective product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies.Support sales teams by providing technical expertise, training, and product knowledge to drive successful product adoption and revenue growth.Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and customer training sessions to showcase product capabilities and benefits.Gather and analyze customer feedback, market trends, and sales data to make data-driven decisions for product enhancements and improvements.Industry Expertise and Market Awareness:Stay up-to-date with and anticipate market trends, technologies, and regulations in the commercial HVAC industry.Active participation and influence in industry forums such as AHRI and HARDI.Identify trends and communicate product line insights while developing action plans to drive business objectives.Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to build relationships, identify partnership opportunities, and stay ahead of competitors. What We Are Looking For Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience in business/marketing/engineering. Proven track record of successfully developing and commercializing products and product strategies.Proven record of successful cross functional NPI project management.Passion for product development and management. Detail and planning orientation.Minimum of 8 years of related experience. OTHER SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Strong initiative, self starter, with excellent communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and internal stakeholders. Candidate must demonstrate exceptional skills in building relationships, active listening, and persuasive communication. Must have knowledge of principles and methods for coaching, displaying, promoting, and selling products or services. Must exhibit strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.Must have effective negotiation experience and the ability to navigate and solve complex business challenges. COMPUTER SKILLS: Proficient with Microsoft Office products including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, and Outlook. ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:Must have the ability to effectively communicate and present at an executive level. HVAC&R Industry and product knowledge preferred. Experience in Two-Step Distribution Model preferred.  What We Offer Compensation: This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between $115,200 - $151,200 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan.
